For anyone -- at any age." br--bLinda Ellerbee, Executive Producer, "Nick News"/b/p P"I've learned that asking ourselves not just what we want to be, but who we want to be is important at every stage of our lives, not just when we're starting out in the world. That's because in a way, we're starting out fresh in the world every single day." /p PiJust Who Will You Be?/i is a candid, heartfelt, and inspirational book for seekers of all ages. Inspired by a speech she gave, Maria Shriver's message is that what you do in your life isn't what matters. It's who you are. It's an important lesson that will appeal to anyone of any age looking for a life of meaning./p PIn her own life, Shriver always walked straight down her own distinctive path, achieving her childhood goal of becoming "award-winning network newswoman Maria Shriver". But when her husband was elected California's Governor and she suddenly had to leave her job at NBC News, Maria was thrown for a loop. Right about then, her nephew asked her to speak at his high school graduation. She resisted, wondering how she could possibly give advice to kids, when she was feeling so lost herself. But in the end she relented and decided to dig down and dig deep, and the result is this little jewel./p PiJust Who Will You Be?/i reminds us that the answer to many of life's question lie within -- and that we're all works in progress. That means it's inever/i too late to become the person you want to be. /p PNow the question for you is this: Just who will iyou/i be?/p

Should Have Been a Blog Entry December 25, 2008 Ted Dintersmith (Seattle WA USA) I picked up this book after hearing about it through various channels. It could easily be a short web-based posting, but instead is a $12 book. The message is very simple, so if you're thinking you're digging into a challenging book, change your expectations. It's a bit like getting a small dollop of cotton candy. Anyway, the upside is that you can finish a "book" in ten minutes.
Short Read December 20, 2008 UNHAPPY I purchased this book for my sister at Christmas time. She had requested it. It isn't a very big book, so consider it a short read when you buy it. For the price I paid for it, I really hope my sister reads it many times!
Just Who Will You Be December 14, 2008 B. Paquin (Rhode Island) Quick, easy read....I think the message it carries is very important for today's young people looking for their place in the world....but also find it made me reflect on my own life...years down the road from graduation....will share with my children and grand-children when they are older.
Inspirational message from Maria Shriver December 11, 2008 Rolf Dobelli (Luzern Switzerland) This brief little book by Maria Shriver is sincere and simple. In it, she poses the question; "Just who will you be?" She tells of her own journey to find the answer, sparked by a commencement speech - including an extended poem - that she gave to her nephew's graduating class. She realized that stripped of her exterior roles and identities - First Lady of California, wife of actor turned politician, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, member of the Kennedy family and network television newswoman - she felt empty and uncertain. Not surprisingly, her spiritual search revealed that roles and fame don't define you. Every human is worthy of love and respect. If you don't mind an occasional touch of the sentimental and even, sometimes, sophomoric, and you're curious about the book's famous author, getAbstract believes you'll enjoy this visit with her.
Feel Good December 1, 2008 Fr Mae (Mount Vernon, New York , USA) A feel good read for when you are way "over 21" and not sure how the rest of the world views you.
