It's no better or worse than the first Scooby Doo movie. Watching live-action scenes that you've previously seen in two dimensions is vaguely uncanny; it's like deja vu turned inside out. The real people scooby movies are incredible!I only gave this movie 4 stars because of 4 things. 1.I'ts not that much like the first film. 2.Daphne and fred don't look like they do in the cartoon. 3.Lina Carellini's performence as Velma isn't as good as it is in the first film. 4. I think Scooby didn't look as good as he did in the first one.In this film they made him look too lit up.For example,when shaggy and scooby are near the Faux Ghost,it's dark and scooby stands out and at that time he shouldn't.In the first film,when scooby's looking for "rambugers" his looks darkens because it's dark out. Still, this is my second favorite flick. My first favorite is the first live action film.I gave that one 5 stars.But this film isn't for kids under 6.
