GREAT ITEM!!! January 8, 2009 A. Lee I bought some maternity jeans that stretched out a lot in my first wear and I couldn't return them...solution: I bought the bellaband. So far I am happy with the item. It definitely helps keep my jeans up and keeps me comfortable. I will admit the bellaband isn't a perfect accessory. A problem I had with it was having to re-adjust the band after sitting down. A little annoying, but beats wasting a good pair of jeans. I am 6 months pregnant at 5'6, 155lbs and the medium size works perfect. br /
Good but make sure that you have the correct size! January 6, 2009 AmazonFan (Minneapolis, MN) I think this is helpful for women who are in their first trimester or in their early second trimester. Sometimes, with a big baby/tummy it seems as if you may need a new one because the belly band doesn't stretch as far or can get somewhat uncomfortable. I do believe one should be enough to carry you through your pregnancy.
Not great for the petite January 2, 2009 Kmjs (NC) This product is just okay. I found the smallest size to be too big for me, even now at 7 months. I was not real tiny to begin with but I am short and I think that is what makes the band so large over my stomach. I think the product was made for more average height women. Fortunately, it wasn't expensive.
Not comfortable December 29, 2008 L. Lynelle (Wimberley, TX) I don't like anything pressing on my belly, so I ordered a size larger than recommended, but it is still way too much pressure on the belly.
Miracle band! December 27, 2008 M. Davis (Washington) Loved these! I could wear my regular pants unbuttoned and they fit like a charm. Then I could wear maternity pants when regular ones got too tight and maternity wear too big (that awkward stage), the bella band kept them up and in place. Also kept my tummy from being too exposed or getting cold. I would recommend to anyone. I gave mine to a friend and she loved them too. I didn't get a chance to use post baby (because I gave them away), but I would imagine they would work great after you have the baby to be able to keep your pants comfortable as well.
