I have several of Eva's CD's and I picked this one to give as a gift to a friend because of the song selection. He's very pleased with it and says it's her most soulful CD. Now I have to get a copy for myself! br / br /I would highly recommend it to others.

Everytime I hear a song sung by Eva Cassidy I can't help but feel sad. br /Sad, because she never got the chance to know how much her voice touches so many people. br /Sad, because she never got the fame that "so called singers" like Mariah Carey has. br /Sad, because she is/was a TRUE TALENT, with a REAL VOICE and sang real songs. br /If you have never heard Eva Cassidy sing, you are missing out on a truly beautiful experience, her clear heartfelt voice. Her voice and her songs can take you on a journey you have never been on before. Every note in Eva Cassidy's range is clear, and pure. Give this CD and all her CD's a listen, you won't be disapointed. br /Sad, yes, because soon the vocal tracks that she did before she died will be all gone, and there will be no more to look forward to.

A friend bought this CD at Amazon for $6.99 (on November 24 2008). I went to buy it last night and found that Amazon had increased the price to $8.99. I put off the purchase, and went back this morning to find the price had increased to $13.99. I'm usually happy with Amazon, but has angered me to the point that bought it elsewhere. You can find much better prices at [...]. Great CD, BTW.

Yes! I can only hope there will be more CDs of Eva's singing. I have bought several CDs of Eva singing, and I can honestly say that I have yet to hear a bad song. It's sad that she left us with "... songs still in her."
