U2's first three albums--Boy, October, and War--receive star treatment with these re-mastered versions, just as their legendary The Joshua Tree record did last year. Every album includes a second disc of b-side remixes, live versions, and rare performances that die-hard fans of the Irish band will surely appreciate. The box also has room for a fourth album (we assume it's for The Joshua Tree), but we can't help to think that they'll come out with a second Deluxe Edition Box Set next year, with even better albums from the band's vast musical catalog. --Ernesto Sanchez (People en Espanol  ) Los tres primeros discos de U2--Boy, October, and War--reciben el tratamiento de lujo en versiones remasterizadas, justo como el ano pasado sucedio con su legendario The Joshua Tree. Album Description
This limited edition collectible U2 Deluxe Edition boxset is handsomely constructed in a sturdy hardbound shell, measuring 5 3/4" (width) x 2 3/4" (spine width) x 5 7/16" (tall) and comes with the newly remastered and expanded 2 CD deluxe editions of the bands first three albums BOY, OCTOBER and WAR, plus room for a fourth (not included). Re-mastered from the original audio tapes, each deluxe includes a disc of b-sides, live tracks and rarities, and the packaging on all three titles has been restored and expanded, with new liner notes for each record, previously unseen photos and full lyrics. This set also comes with a limited edition, exclusive 18'x24' full color replica poster from the bands beginnings, recreated just for this boxset.

 MISSING BONUS OCTOBER CD! September 7, 2008
I was elated that my box set arrived today. After listening to Boy's bonus cd, I tried to listen to October's bonus cd. Much to my dismay, I found out I do not have the bonus October cd, only a duplicate of the actual October album. So, I would say...beware! I can't be the only person to have this problem. I should have my replacement by later next week. It's just a pain to be so ready to listen to a cd and it's not there.
I DO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ACTUAL MUSIC ON THE CDS. THIS IS A PRODUCTION ERROR...NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PRECIOUS IRISH BOYS! JUST WANTED TO GIVE EVERYONE A HEADS UP!

This is a great box set at a great price. When I bought it, it was cheaper than buying them individually. Superior recording quality and the previously unreleased songs are good songs.
U2 Remasters Boxset September 1, 2008
The price for this boxset is worth it for the bonus cd's alone with some songs and a single that were hard to get before ("A Celebration" on the October bonus cd) although the Boy, War and October remasters sound great!!! There's a more fuller richer sound with a bit more power to the base sound. If you like U2 you must update your collection with this.
