I bought this for my wife for Xmas '08. She was a teeny bopper when they were first around back in the 80's/90's.. She totally diggs this!

I have been a New Kids fan since their first concert in 1988. Now I am 37 yrs old, married with kids and I still love them, but this album is one of their best ones yet!! Donnie wrote almost every song and he put his heart and soul into it and the results are fantastic!! This is a great upbeat album you can dance to or mellow out to with the slow songs!! It shows they have grown into talented men!! If you were never a New Kids fan you will like this album, men too!! My husband loves it!! My favorite songs are Single, Summertime, 2 in the morning, It's officially over, Dirty Dancing and Grown Man..

New Kids on the Block were my life when I was a teenager, I was addicted just like any other crazed fan. Now in my 30's when I heard they were getting back together, I felt giddy all over just like I had back in the day. I immediately went and bought their new cd The Block, I love it! They have changed their music, of course they are adults now I don't think I would have liked them as much had they sounded like the 'old school' New Kids. I went to their concert last month (Nov 08) in St Louis and it was a blast, I actually even got my husband to go. He wasn't quite sure about them but we had a great time together. I think he got a kick out of his wife acting like a kid at heart once again. I hope they continue to stick around for us fans.

This CD is the Bomb!! I listen to it everyday, in my car or at the gym. Each song has a fun beat to get you in the mood!!
