Happy! November 17, 2008 Rachael (Bay Area, CA) Here's what I wanted: a digital frame that displayed really nice, high resolution pictures with a frame (border) that would work with my home decor. And that's what this delivers. I can't speak for the sound or video. Pros: + Picture quality is GREAT! + Frame is nice + Easy to get pictures onto the internal memory + Remote + Auto shut off is handy Cons: - Clock is stuck on all of the pictures and won't shut off - but it's small and relatively unobtrusive - The touch screen/menus don't work too well, but works perfectly with the remote ... just don't lose the remote! I bought one for myself and will be buying them as gifts.
Nice but defective November 16, 2008 cowboy (usa) This is a very nice looking product with two frames included. Nice features which was what I was looking for. Easy to follow instructions and power on/off on remote allows for wall mounting without problems. Unfortunately it arrive not functioning correctly. Returned when tech support determined it was defective. Looks like a 4-6 week delay to receive a new one, which is very unacceptable for a brand new product. Buyer beware of this product.
Fatal Flaw - Do not Buy November 13, 2008 Mario As the another writer said this item has an absolutely fatal flaw. To have a beautiful big 15 inch picture marred with an ugly blue arrow is absolutely ridiculous. And it makes you wonder about quality control. How they could have missed this ugly arrow is beyond me. It makes this frame unusable.
Don't buy this frame... November 10, 2008 Robert Stear 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This frame is drop dead beautiful, but it turns out to have a fundamental flaw. I bought my PAN1502W02 15" frame in October 2008, loaded up my pictures, and started the slideshow only to find that there is an annoying blue arrow displayed in the lower right of the LCD that never goes away in slideshow mode. Very disappointing for such a high end frame! I called Pandigital and the support line told me that they had "just" discovered this flaw in the firmware programming and that it affects all the PAN1502W02 frames. According the Pandigital, this is a firmware error and they have no planned fix for it nor are they planning to recall the frames that have already been shipped. If you don't mind the annoying blue arrow over your beautiful photos in slideshow mode, this is a 5 star frame. If you are like me and expect a high end expensive frame like this one to show only your beautiful photos, then it's a 1 star frame and you should save your money. I'm returning mine to Amazon this week.
Love this frame November 6, 2008 Ed (San Francisco, CA) I absolutely love this frame. Got it as a gift and was surprised that it had a 1024x768 resolution. So much nicer than my smaller frames. I noticed that some people are complaining about the interface, but I rarely use the interface. Just plug in an SD card with my favorite Flickr photos downloaded and let it slideshow continuously. I have a lot of tech friends and every single party we have, someone notices it and is surprised by the quality of photos.
