4 out of 5 stars Overall nice camera for the price   May 9, 2008
VSH (Florida)
In a nutshell, I have owned this camera for about 8 months

Pros:
Very pretty red color
Huge Display
Easy to use - Very comparable to other digital cameras I have used
Decent price - Again compared to other cameras with around 7.2 MP
Many nice features - video, etc
Lightweight

Cons:
View finder is located in a poor area - people tend to put their fingers over it when they take a picture

The zoom - is not as impressive as I had hoped

Not particularly durable - I have dropped this camera only once and the silver side paneling had cracked and chipped.

If you are looking for a realatively inexpensive camera look no further. This is it. Great buy. Intuitive. My wife loves it. We take pics with it constantly.

This camera is phenominal. It is easy to use, the viewing screen is huge. The color is far beyond superb. Be very very careful though when you purchase it through Amazon with the listing seller. Although the pricing seems to be good, it is an illusion because they rip the storage(memory card) out of it. You will be required to purchase one at a mere $70.00. If you do not, you must set the camera image to a less than desirable preferance in order to take more than 4 pictures.

In addition you will need to purchase additional battery's as well. They do not last long. So if you are on the road with only 1 battery with no other's charge. You will be stuck without a camera !

I am a college freshman who was only looking for a decent looking camera to take pictures of my friends and video record lectures for my classes. This sleek red camera definitely passes the good looking test, but turned a little cumbersome when it was too small to take a decent picture. When I say small, I mean that usually my hands would shake because of how small it was and the weight of the camera wouldn't be balanced, so the picture would come out blurry. But if you are just looking for a casual camera this one is great.

I actually don't like the fact that the lens is placed all the way to the left of the camera... why did that do that for? It makes the pictures come out crooked sometimes, and cuts some faces off. The video recording device isn't that great either. Sure this camera has a beautiful large screen to capture my lectures, but the sound quaility is kind of horrible because it captures other audioless static noises around.

Recommended if only you want a good looking camera to show off to your friends.
Not recommended if your taste lies more along the professional lines.
