Product Description
The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is three devices in one. The Wireless Access Point lets you connect both Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. The Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection. All your computers can print on a shared printer connected anywhere in the house. Your computers can share all kinds of music, digital picture, and document files. The Wi-Fi Protected Setup feature makes it easy to configure your wireless devices. Just push the button on the Router and on your other Wi-Fi Protected Setup enabled wireless device to automatically create a WPA2 connection that protects your data and privacy with up to 256-bit industrial-strength encryption. The Router can serve as a DHCP Server, has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks, supports VPN pass-through, and can be configured to filter internal users' access to the Internet. Advanced configuration is a snap with the web-browser-based interface. 5 out of 5 stars plug and play... easy to install, easy to use   August 30, 2008
i'm not the most tech-savvy individual. That being said, i'm highly satisfied with this product.

It works extremely well, and is VERY easy to set up and use. It has provided me with several months of uninterrupted, reliable wireless internet.

I've even used this for multiple computers at the same time. Works brilliantly. Highly recommended.

1 out of 5 stars Constant re-boot required   August 29, 2008
I've had this router for two months and had nothing but problems. It randomly looses it's ip connection to my cable modem and then takes forever to find it again. Based on the mixed feedback I see on this site I suspect it's a production defect that only affects certain routers as I see both very good and very bad ratings. You're taking a risk buying this router. I won't buy it again!

5 out of 5 stars Linksys Wireless router   August 29, 2008
Tremendous wireless ! Easy to install, easy to use, very good transmition speed and no problems until now. I got the product one month ago and no problems.

5 out of 5 stars Very good router   August 29, 2008
The router performed perfectly out of the box. I changed several settings to match my network and security settings and all works well.

I use this in my home office. I work from home and depend heavily on it. It just works great!

I would highly recommend this router.

3 out of 5 stars Link   August 29, 2008
This was a little tricky to set up as opposed to our older Linksy's model.
But it did solve the problem of power inter-ruptions causing us to reset the old Linksys everytime. What a pain that was. My wife is still trying to get the system to accept our other wireless computers.
