Good Eats May 31, 2008 L. Craig (Colorado Springs) My husband and I loved this movie and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to eat, likes to watch romantic comedies, likes a movie with no foul language, and even those who like Ratatouille.
Very Enjoyable May 23, 2008 P. Smith (Columbia Falls, MT) Katherine Zeta-Jones plays a master chef at a NYC restaurant with no time for anything or anyone else in her life. That is, until her niece (Abigail Breslin) comes to live with her, then subtle changes begin to take place. During this time, a sous-chef (Aaron Eckhart) is hired at the restaurant (without her knowledge) and he brings with him several changes, both to the restaurant and to Katherine Zeta-Jones' life. The script is light and easy and the acting excellent. This is a cute movie and worth viewing.
JazzMan51 May 20, 2008 R. Evans (Alabama) Wonderfully Entertaining. Catherine Zeta-Jones is Great ! Aaron Eckhart is a very good Actor, we should see more from him soon.Loved the plot and loved the chemistry. Great in HD.
Not the typical story. May 13, 2008 Jeannette M. Bartels I understand that not everyone liked this movie. It's not the typical cheary everything is going to be all right movie. It shows how not everything is easy. It's not the typical happy ending. But it leaves you knowing that everyone is going to be ok, and eventually it does all work out.
No reservations here May 11, 2008 Hi from WA (USA) I guess I'm glad I never saw the foreign version of this movie because I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was a sweet movie with a good overall story line. Aaron & Abigail were great in it and Catherine did a decent job too. As a wannabe foodie, I also enjoyed all the focus on the food. I actually had not heard much about this movie and I know the reviews were not stellar so maybe that's why I was pleasantly surprised by it.
