Good Movie. Not Enough of Gerard Butler May 7, 2008 MJ in Minneapolis 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I enjoyed the movie. It made me laugh and made me cry. However, there aren't enough scenes with the delightful Gerard Butler. He's very entertaining, and I wish they would have used him more.

...about this movie that hasn't already been said. I love it. I saw it 5 times at the movies and I couldn't wait for it to come out in DVD. My wait was over yesterday when I went to a store and they had it for sale. I read the book after seeing the movie and yes they are different in a lot of ways but still the same. I only keep thinking that it would've been nice if they would've added one or two scenes that I loved about the book and to my surprise those scenes are included in the additional scenes in the DVD. You can see Gerry planning the trip to Ireland (heartbreaking and yet so funny!) and you can see when they say they are gonna name the baby after Gerry. ^_^
A beautiful love story May 4, 2008 Hopeless Romantic (connecticut) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A roller coaster of a movie. One moment your crying the next your laughing. A beautiful love story.
P.S. I Love You May 3, 2008 KAC (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"A Good Love Story", A good movie that makes you cry and happy at the same time. The Book by Cecelia Ahern is wonderful and the book should be read first and then see the movie.
...and the tears came. April 30, 2008 Jasmine 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I saw the previews for this movie and of course it looked like a tear jerker. I don't cry at movies tho. And my boyfriend was catching on to this pretty quick. I wanted to cry at this one, to show him I'm not some heartless robot (he assured me he never thought this, but the fear was still there.) We went, we saw, I cried. This was such a cute movie, I can't wait till it comes out next week. And I love love love the usage of Flogging Molly's song, If I Ever Leave This World Alive. I get misty eyed when I hear the song come on my mp3 player even now. Great movie if you're into tear jerkers, just plain sweet love stories, and Irish accents :-)
