Great movie July 27, 2008 I do like this movie because I do like the first one. Watching this in high definition does make a huge difference. The storyline and action/scifi is better than the first. Can't wait for part three, if any.
Good sequel July 24, 2008 This movie is a great sequel to the first "National Treasure" movie. The characters were still their same treasure hunting loving selves and they added the mother of Ben, who couldn't have been better in her role. This movie was a continuation of the last story, but could also stand by itself as a whole new story.
Good Action Movie July 24, 2008 This movie had alot of action It was alot better then the 1st one had more action then part 1 A great movie the whole family would enjoy
very entertaining July 21, 2008 a lot of twists and turns, very entertaining, keeps you guessing and wanting to know what happens next, great cast - helen mirren and jon voight are brilliant, loved it.
Good Movie for Kids and Early Teens July 20, 2008 National Treasure 2 is a poor relative to Part 1. Nothing about this film is original or even realistic. Actually much of the movie is so goofy that one wonders if this movie was even meant for adults. For example, how do these people find clues and secrets every 2 minutes?. How do these people trash half of London with reckless driving without getting arrested or injured? (See the Bourne series for realistic examples of high speed auto chases) The whole stereotype of profound hidden messages in the Bible, the constitution, under the desk, the dollar bill, the uber geek who can hack though anything (while we get to see a nice Flash presentation) is all getting old. As also are the Hollywood depictions of lost native American and South American civilizations with amazing depictions if ingenious engineering in structures they left behind. But the movie is still good to keep kids occupied.
