Centennial is great, and no waiting for the next section October 17, 2008 Karen I. James Centennial: The Complete Series Its as great today as when it was made. Plus no waiting to find out what happens next.
Love this mini-series October 17, 2008 Lee Ann Fisher (New Mexico) Centennial is my favorite book and the 70's mini-series was wonderful. I have looked for this forever (it seems) and found it on Amazon. They shipped it to me quickly and I have enjoyed watching it again. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful story.
A True Depiction of America's Western History October 10, 2008 Nurse25 (WA USA) I too had this on VHS for many years and was thrilled when it became available on DVD. I've watched it countless times and never grow tired of it. Undoubtably it's the best mini-series ever made, and all the James Michener books are a good lesson in history. He, himself, was a true American treasure. This film has a cast of characters you will always remember.
Michner's Classic in DVD October 6, 2008 Michael F. Pertmer (Wisconsin) James Michner's classic shines in its new DVD format. I had purchased the series in VHS format a number of years ago and was delighted to see it now in DVD format. A truly great miniseries with an equally great cast of stars.
Centennial October 5, 2008 J. Forsythe The boxed set of this TV miniseries is really a nice addition to any DVD library. The case is lovely and could sit on any book shelf in even the most formal home.
