Cheaply made October 24, 2008 K. Williams (Kansas City, MO) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This product is cheaply made and it is only a matter of time before it breaks off of my mothers keys. The software on three computers I loaded it on is not 'user friendly' and continues to give errors until it loads...and they you must sync everything as you may not get the software working again. I have a new Dell computer and the technology is there but wait for upgrades of this model!!!
Coby DP-151 Digital Photo Keychain October 23, 2008 R. King (Midwest USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
Alright, I spent some pepsi points for this, so I am not going to gripe to much about it. HOWEVER I will say, that at least PART OF THE PROBLEMS some people have been having, are due to the Poor Quality USB Cord itself. If you have an old USB cord from a Camera, I say pitch the one that came with the Coby DP-151 and use it, instead. Yes the software does indeed work with XP, but it sure would NOT WORK with the supplied USB Cord!! The 1st try with the different cord made all the difference in the world. The picture quality is alright, and easily worth the $9.99 it sells for now. I just got this Coby DP-151, and I have not tested the length of the battery life yet, but I will. Again, PITCH the USB cord supplied with the Coby DP-151 and get a different one.(Remember one end will need to be small to fit into the Coby DP-151 itself) This should help many people who heed these words, many many hours of waiting for a beep (which i never heard) and plugging and replugging in the USB cord to your computer. BTW, I am a PepsiHolic, but the items available in this promotion are a far cry from the original pepsi Points. I sure hope the next pepsi point promo has better items like the Original Pepsi Point Promo from the 1990's.
Great Price! October 19, 2008 rhode island girl (Smithfield, RI) I purchased this as a birthday gift because it was such a great price. I'm definately going to keep ordering from Amazon!
I really like this keychain! October 19, 2008 Lydia Dulin (Lebanon, Oregon USA) It was a little confusing at first because it was a new type of techie thing for me, but its really cool and has a nice picture display that comes out pretty clear. I would buy another for a friend as a gift or something.
Works with Vista October 17, 2008 Coffecup Well first of all, from reading the reviews I was alittle scared ordering this product. I loaded it on a Vista Premium, using XP sp2 compatibility. It loaded fine. You have to have the unit plugged in before the software will launch. The software isn't very fancy but it does the job.
