5 out of 5 stars So cunning you could stick a tail on it and call it a weasel   August 25, 2004

The original broadcast of Blackadder III was on TV past my bedtime, but the highlight of my weekend was watching the video the following morning - now I can relive the excitement in the car with the audio CDs. All 6 episodes are provided, across 3 CDs - these are direct transfers of the original TV series, with laughter track, and are all the better for it. Sound quality is excellent, the quality of performance is well known, and the writing stands the test of time - 18 years on, and the only TV comedy which can get anywhere close to the quality of this is the sequel, Blackadder goes forth.
Well worth the asking price for quality, timeless comedy.

Here's hoping there is a 5th series, and it's not on past my bedtime.......

5 out of 5 stars this is absolutley...um, um, um? oh yes, memorable!   August 31, 2000

This is better than the TV series. Firstly you can't see Baldrick, and secondly your imagination runs wild (I wish it wouldn't; mine ran away 17 years ago and hasnt got back) This is brilliant, and deliciously witty.
