Voted Britain's best ever sitcom in millennium polls, IOnly Fools and Horses/I has a muddled history on video. This release should make things clearer, containing for the first time the complete fifth series on a double-video. Dating from 1986, the episodes have previously appeared on the compilations ITea for Three/I and IWatching the Girls Go By/I.pLike so much great comedy, pathos lies behind these cleverly scripted, deceptively straightforward tales, continuing the tradition of lovable rogues in BBC sitcoms from ISteptoe and Son/I and IPorridge/I. David Jason's Del Boy dreams of becoming a millionaire, "this time next year", but we know life isn't like that. In "From Prussia with Love", Del, kid-brother Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst) and Uncle Albert (Buster Merryfield) replay IThree Men and a Baby/I , while "The Miracle of Peckham" raises the church roof. "The Longest Night" has our trio as prisoners of the world's most useless criminal, while Rodney has an unhappy encounter with a sunbed in "Tea For Three". The gormless one turns unlikely film-maker, resulting in a "Video Nasty", before the series ends with "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?", testing family loyalties when Del is offered the chance of a lifetime. Essentially British and very re-watchable, IOnly Fools and Horses/I deserves the description classic comedy. I--Gary S. Dalkin/I

I got this for my birthday last month I sat down and watched it thought to myself 'This vintage comedy'. I liked 'Tea for Three' the best because that's the one where Del Boy goes hang-gliding. They are all Exellent! So buy the best loved trio from the best loved online store!
