Three marvellous cold-weather stories from Disney's popular IPooh/I television series are combined into one video. A slight error in judgement has led the gang in the 100 Acre Wood into Spring in "Groundpiglet Day". Rabbit's rushing about defeats the true purpose of the holidays in "A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving". Rabbit is also the centre of "Find Her, Keep Her" when he adopts a wayward bird. Even though this is a new collection of cartoons, the 70-minute tape keeps close to the spirit of the 1960s Pooh classics (unlike previous IPooh/I cartoons). A new song from Disney songmasters the Sherman brothers is sung (along with their famous title number), and Paul Winchell returns as the unmistakable voice of Tigger. My 20-month daughter loves Pooh very much and this is definitely one of her most favourite video. The video contains many lovely cheerful tunes and songs. The story lines are very entertaining for any child and even adult. Even myself, as an adult enjoy this video. My daughter could even understand sadness when she saw Kessie (the bird) weep in front of the fireplace when Rabbit refused to read her a last story before she flies off. My daughter will watch this video from the beginning to the end and still love it. I recommend this video highly as a wonderful gift for any child.
