I thought that this film was kinda funny! I mean . . . flesh eating mermaids!!! It was really cool and it makes you jump! It's about these sea men who capture a mermaid and find out that it's no normal mermaid! Then . . . watch it to find out!!!

The film, is a brave atemp at the old hammer house of horror classic films, and as such does seem to hold true to some of the guideline the classic films had. The story will make you jump in places, there is only a few things that lets the film down and I am sad to say on of these is the vey sad monster. With a little bit more budget spent on the monster I think it would and could of worked, how it looks at the moment is cheesy.pIf you like old ghost stories, it has the feeling of that, and it works very well, however if you like modern upto date scare the living pants off you, this film, will leave you very disapointed.

i really enjoyed this film. it makes you look at mermaids in a new light. its about a carnival sideshow group they geyt their hands on a really life mermaid. on their way to america by cargo ship, they soon learn that they have got more than they bargne for. as the ship difts further and further out to sea the horror gets worst. its a must if you like horror movies get it it great.

This film starts off badly and goes down hill from there, the 'She Creature' is about as terrifying as a Halibut from the fish market. This film borrows heavily from films like Species and Alien, with the She Creature being designed by the same person who designed the creatures in these films. A fact I am sure you won't be able to miss as it is plastered all over the box. Avoid like a stinking old Herring
