This is the saddest film i have ever watched, im not a big michael keaton fan really but if this doesnt make u cry u have no heart!

We rented this film based on the reviews here but were very disappointed. So much so that I felt compelled to write this review - only the 2nd I have written.br /br /Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman are both fine actors but the characters here are two-dimensional and don't elicit any sympathy. You just don't really care what happens to them.br /br /Not only that but the plot is not convincing. Are we really supposed to believe that a man who has both lung and liver cancer and only 3 or 4 months left to live could run around a squash court and play a vigorous game?br /br /As for the scenes with the Chinese "healer" - well, they were almost laughable.br /br /It's not often that my husband and I don't make it to the end of a film but this was so dull that we turned off after the first hour (we only lasted that long because we thought it might get better.br /br /I know understand why I had never before heard of this film despite the two leads being high profile actors.br /br /One to pass on.br /

I watched this film with my mum and i have to say im not one of nicole kidmans biggest fans but i love this film. Micheal keaton is brilliant in it and if your like a good cry at a film then this would be the one to watch!!

MIchael Keaton is one off my favourite actors and this film sees him at is very best. If you have ever loved someone or someone you loved has had cancer then you'll feel your heart strings pulling as this is so realalistic you find yourself getting lost in the film. It's just amazin.

Michael Keaton, from my point of view, the best actor ever and Nicole Kidman not one of my favourites, but I see her in movies once in a while...like Batman Forever to name one. The movie is simply something new, better to be called a masterpiece. If you want to feel and see what the world is like, for certain people at certain times, this is the movie you should 'own' and not just watch. It's got a 5/5 at other places where it's been rated and I'd give it the same. Not one of the best, but 'the' best movie ever of such genre. It's got everything in it. When you've watched it, you will definitely log on and type a review on this movie. The movie's definitely worth owning. Michael Keaton's best performance.
