5 out of 5 stars VERY FUNNY - A FAB SERIES!   May 7, 2005

'My Dad's The Prime Minister' is one of the few British comedy series that are actually funny and watchable. I thoroughly enjoyed this series on TV and I own it on DVD. I also watched the second series on TV and I can't wait to watch it again when it eventualy comes out on DVD. All of the actors a brilliant - especially the children. It is very well written by Ian Hislop and the Juliet May's directing is fab. Definately one to watch!

I really enjoyed this series - it was warm, funny and quality family entertainment. The sort of thing the BBC does really well. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars The funniest TV show of 2003   December 3, 2003

"My Dad's the Prime Minister" reaffirmed Ian Hislop and Nick Newman as two of Britain's foremost comedy scriptwriters. Seldom has a contemporary TV series made me laugh out loud from begining to end - but this does exactly that, in an effortless, faultless way that singlehandedly justifies every penny of the UK Television License Fee. Bravo BBC. Praise also to Director Juliet May who creates a pace and depth of character seldom seen on the small screen.
