From the first Pamela Anderson pre-credit sequence to the beautiful and great comedic actress Anna Faris wrapping it up on TV this film packs in more laughs than the other 3 put together. Surreal off-the-wall moments courtesy of Mr Zucker complement the Wayans' imaginative rip-off of the scary movie genre. br /br /Leslie Nielsen is class as the president, Charlie Sheen makes a fine appearance as the reluctant reverend and the 8 mile sequence is extremely funny, as are all 'The Ring' spoof sequences. br /br /Out of all the Scary Movies I'd buy this. The first is the next best, but 2 and 4 don't do it for me.

We're Wayans free for part three in the Scary Movie series (Airplane director David Zucker takes over), which means two things. One is that the more crass element of these films takes a back seat to the Zucker style of scattershot humour. Second, and most importantly, Anna Faris (now a blonde) finally gets the top billing she deserves.br /br /Scary Movie 3 takes aim at a smooshing together of The Ring and Signs. Also, 8 Mile, which was not a horror film as far as I remember. Well, not in the traditional sense, anyway. br /br /The cast is more varied for this one, with Charlie Sheen joining up in the Mel Gibson from Signs role, Simon Rex as Joaquim Phoenix/Eminem, as well as Zucker regular Leslie Nielsen as a very stupid US president. Regina Hall returns again as Brenda, Anthony Anderson and Kevin Hart make a very funny double act, plus you've got a whole bunch of cameos.br /br /Anna Faris proves once again she's a very talented comic actress. I like these films just fine, but I don't think they'd be nearly as funny without Faris. It's a real treat to see a young actress with absolutely no fear of looking like a complete idiot as long as there's a laugh to be had.br /br /You would think this simple idea of poking fun at horror films would be running out of steam, but I think this is the best of the series to date. There were far more genuine laugh out loud moments than in either of the first two installments, and it spent much less time indulging in lazy jokes. Even if you've not seen Scary Movies 1 or 2, this is recommended to all comedy fans.

this is still funny but in a more in your face, obvious way. the zuckers direct so if you liked airplane, the naked gun, spy hard et al. watch this but set your bar lower.

scary movie 3.5 is a film that takes the mic out of horror/scary films as you will know. this time cindy is out of college and working as a repoter when crop circles appear and a tape comes along that kills anyone who watches it in seven days. this is obviously taking the mic out of the ring . other films that scary movie takes a stab at are 8mile and sings it also has a cool seen were it takes the mic out of micheal jackson and then simon cowell
