May to December Series 1 2 March 7, 2008
This show was filmed to a large part in Pinner Middlesex, some 13 miles north of London. Having been a "copper" in Pinner for 9 years I thought the use of Pinner in the seriess a very good choice. Acting was what one would expect from the stars in it 100% great. Please notify me if the rest of the series come available. I even bought a special DVD player to watch it, it's that good. signed "A Florida fan"
Excellent Show January 9, 2008
I have been waiting for years for this series to come out on DVD in the US, however it never has. I saw this show years ago on PBS and loved it. Finally I bought a DVD player that plays all regions and can't wait to watch it again. I highly recommend this show.

I just love this series Anton Rodgers is perfect as Alec and Eve Matheson as Zoe although I liked Lesley Dunlop later on when she played Zoe.br /br /Alec and Zoe are perfect for each other they really are and both of them are very entertaining characters. Miss Flood is a very loyal friend and secretary to Alec and Miles. br /br /In Series 2 I was sorry to see Miles go, but Jamie is great and a good son to Alec. br /br /This series is a delight to watch and I sincerely hope more series are released on Dvd.br /br /I think Hilary brings a lot to the series also and she might be scatterbrained but she has a good heart.br /br /

I have recently viewed Series 1 2 of this show.Excellent viewing,Eve Matheson excels as Zoe,seeming at times vulnerable,sometimes tough,always endearing.I just wonder how Lesley Dunlop can follow her performance.I particularly loved her wonderful changeover in the last scene of "My Funny Valentine"where she switches from "Matchmakers Incorporated"to"And you were thrilled,weren't you".Stupendous.I will miss her in Series 3.

I've only recently got into this show (thanks to that fantastic TV channel, Paramount Comedy 2). My wonderful mother got this DVD and I spent last night (or maybe "this morning" - it was after midnight!) watching these classic episodes. (Maybe not such a good idea to start watching when one has to get up in the morning... )br /br /I love this show - I love the humour, the writing and the cast. And I am hoping that DVDs for the subsequent series will shortly be released - I am ready and waiting, my "Add To Cart" finger is primed... ;)br /br /Very highly recommended from me!
