 Hilarious Film. December 27, 2008
I watch this film every Christmas and it never gets old. Every time i watch it i find myself crying with laughter. It is a feel-good, funny movie. While watching this you shouldn't expect a big storyline because it is a kids Christmas movie and all Christmas movies are like this. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who loves their Christmas movies!

I disagree with some reviewers this is a great fun christmas film guaranteed to get you in the mood for christmas.Tim Allen is hilarious as luther crank who just wants to escape the expence and traditions of christmas.Loads of funny scenes,I really dont get it how some people say its creepy,Ok the neighbours are ott but thats what makes it funny when the cranks try to skip christmas.br / Great family film I recommend watching this every christmasbr / br /

Possibly the worst Christmas film I've seen to date. As a comedy, it's predictable and over-acted. Given Tim Allen and Jamie-Lee Curtis star in it makes no difference - this is, on a festive scale of 10, a dim 5. I'm no Scrooge myself - we have a good collection of classic Christmas videos we pull out each year (National Lampoons, Home Alone etc...) but this is dire in comparison, mainly because of the ridiculous second half of the film. It's as if the producers pulled out the first 'Film-making for Total Dummies' book off the shelve and still made it lame and silly.br /br /Avoid like warm 5 day old milk.

This has to go down as the best Christmas movie I have watched with my young ones, it had me rolling on more than one occasion with a great script, great acting which resulted in it being very very funny. Again you will only watch this at Christmas time which is fine because it's cheap to buy. This will make a great addition to any collection and more importantly it's good clean fun that the whole family can enjoy.
