What a dissapointing film! Schmaltzy enough - well you look for that in a Christmas film but that was as good as it got. The plot was slow tedious and, even with the normal suspension of disbelief necessary for a Christmas feeling, totally unbelievable and utterly depressing. Not to reveal too much about the plot (in case you do want to risk it), suffice to say that it has a very pathetic "Bobby in the Shower" ending. brI love Christmas films old and new but this one actually had me fast forwarding through the most boring bits and longing for the end.
