Good mainstream crossover December 20, 2008 Not a "gay" film in a lot of ways - but a lovely mixture of all sexualities and above all friendship. The "straight" guy is so cute and cool and almost got a handle on things even if he doesn't know it. If only all straight guys were like that! It's funny and it's all about being friends. A film of now and the world we have which a lot of the time really is just about being friends and caring about one another - whatever!
This is bad May 22, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Words fail me! From the very bad acting to the ludicrous story, there is nothing at all to redeem this film.
Bubble gum fun February 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really liked this film - one of the main reasons I liked it was that it doesn't take itself too seriously. The acting's OK, but it's just light-hearted fun, and at least it has a nice happy ending as well.br /br /The other big plus of the film is that all the men in it are very hot with a capital H ! There is certainly one scene in the middle of the film when Kaleb is on the phone that is incredibly sexy.br /br /Don't watch this film if you are expecting a high-brow film examining gay life, but do watch it if you want to spend an hour and a half watching some good looking guys and girls playing around and enjoying themselves.
Some poor acting but still a funny movie February 16, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If there is one problem with this movie it is that some of the acting is poor or OTT. It is almost like watching Lazy Town! In one of the final scenes there is a family dinner and the parents are just awful. Despite this, the script is quite funny and I really enjoyed the film even though it is not really grounded in reality.br /br /The point I really found myself getting into the movie was the scene in which the straight guy and the gay guy return home from their date and a very interesting threesome involving the the gay guys female roommate on the telephone occurs. If you cannot 'go' with this scene you probably won't enjoy the rest of the movie.br /br /The gay guy on the straight date is played by the actor who was the boyfriend of Andrew in Desperate Housewives.
Very Enjoyable February 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A taste of real life as it is.br /br /Shows that being gay/straight is no great deal.br /br /Quite funny and and an insight for all the 'bi' guys out therebr /br /
