5 out of 5 stars A good funny film.   May 30, 2008

I thought this film was funny and that it had a good story to it. Basically its a little guy who just gets out of prison and he tries to rob and he gets a diamond. When he gets it he ends up getting caught up with a young couple who soon want to have children. He pretends to be a baby and he acts like it the whole way through with some funny parts in it and in the end they find out he isnt a baby and he leaves. Pretty basic story line but a good funny film.

1 out of 5 stars This is a comedy!?   May 17, 2008

I am a big fan of comedy movies, but, this, this is without doubt one of the most pathetic attempts at a comedy film I have seen, and I have seen my fair share of them.
It's so brutally unfunny, it's untrue! The "jokes" are offensive and forced.
This film is not even worth the one star I have given it, and for the life of me, I don't know how anyone can give this 5 stars. I can only think that they are trying to convince themselves that it's good.
The creators of this film should be ashamed of themselves for creating such an appaulling film, that's not even worthy of release.
Avoid this film!

i liked scary movie 1 and most of 2 but after that the franchise got bad.....real bad. this movie is like the retarded cousin of White Chicks.

i love comedy.....i DO comedy....this is painful.

don't buy this movie. go get Dodgeball, wedding crashers, tommy boy, dumb and dumber, 40 year old virgin, naked gun, airplane, buy the family guy box set.......BUT DON'T GET THIS SHOWER OF DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!

1 out of 5 stars Unwatchable Rubbish!!!   July 25, 2007

I heard from a two people - a friend and a work colleague - that this film was excellent. They were wrong. It was absolutely appalling - so much so that I had to turn it off after 40 minutes.

It was full of annoying characters and over-the-top acting throughout. This might be forgiven, it being a comedy, but it wasn't even funny.

Avoid 'Little Man' at all costs!

2 out of 5 stars [2.5]-"Little Man" is short on plot but vast on a few laughs   June 27, 2007

I like the Wayne's brothers, wither you want to admit it or not, they give you a few good laughs in most of their films. So, I figured I give "Little Man" a try, and honestly, it wasn't that bad, I actually had a decent time watching this unlike "White Chicks." Most of the humor in this film revolves around slapstick violence, which is in itself mainly based around the fact that one of the instigators of the violence is tiny. This sounds horrible, I know it does, but it is actually not that bad (barring a few parts).

Through out this film I found few annoying performances. I have no idea what John Witherspoon was on during the filming of this, but I have the feeling it'd put half of viewers to sleep. I realize the character he's playing is supposed to be a bit crazy, but I quite honestly felt like throwing my shoe through the screen whenever he was on it. Kerry Washington also annoyed me at some points, but that was mostly due to her character's lines rather than how she delivered them. Shawn Wayans puts on a decent performance and is believable at times.

The actual plot (a stolen diamond) is pretty much forgotten throughout most of the film. Once Marlon pretends to be the baby, until the very end of the movie, the diamond is pretty much a useless part of the plot. But with this kind of comedy, you know you're not going to get much of a plot-heavy movie anyway, and that should be taken into consideration. Other than that it's a decent film. It's not perfect and it's not bad either. But if you don't like slapstick involving midgets then you can skip it.
