This is awful. The special effects, which are its trump card, are played far too early, probably to mask the dishwater-thin plot and the myriad of wasted famous faces. It's patronising, obvious, extremely poorly-scripted and not worth the time of anybody over about seven. Actually, there are better films for people under seven as well. Wake me up when Ben Stiller makes a decent film, preferably one that doesn't involve loads of speical effects masquerading as a decent film. This is Hollywood at its sycophantic worst. Hi-Def doesn't make up for bad films, people. Don't spend any more than you have to to see this rubbish.
