By dint of the inexplicable popularity of their send-up of movie genres in the parody movies iScary Movie/i and iDate Movie/i, writer/director duo Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer probably got an epic-sized bucket of cash for this hastily stitched pastiche of drive-by entertainment. There's no particular variety of movie they were sent to send up this time, unless big box-office grossers has now become a genre in and of itself. If so, iEpic Movie/i may well qualify as part of that league itself. Very little expense has been spared to make so-called "comic" references to a slew of mostly recent blockbusters--iThe Chronicles of Narnia/i, iBorat/i, iHarold and Kumar Go to White Castle/i, iCharlie and the Chocolate Factory/i, the iX-Men/i and iHarry Potter/i series, iSuperman Returns/i, iNacho Libre/i, and iThe Da Vinci Code/i to name a few--and it's assumed we've seen them all. pIn a goofy thread of a story about four orphans plucked from some of the above, battle must be done through various bastardized plots from same so that a prophecy can be fulfilled and they can assume their rightful place as rulers of a sacred land. Lots of crotch kicks, fart, urine, and vomit jokes speed by as we pass through Willie Wonka's factory and a magical wardrobe with an unusually interesting assortment of look-alikes and name actors caught up in the gag mix (some of it legitimately funny). Darrell Hammond, Crispin Glover, David Carradine, Kevin McDonald, Carmen Electra, Kal Penn put on game (and sometimes gamy) faces, and it's definitely a hoot to watch comedy improv alums Fred Willard and Jennifer Coolidge as Aslo the Lion and the White Bitch do battle in a Narnian good vs. evil character smackdown. As lame as you already expect a movie like this to be, anything that can throw together an homage to C.S. Lewis alongside MTV's iPunk'd/i in less than 90 minutes can't be all bad.i --Ted Fry/i

 The single worst film in the world ever. August 8, 2008
This has got to be the worst film i have ever seen in my life. I actually saw it in the cinema and i hated myself for days afterwards for mot walking out and demanding my money back. This films sucks and whoever created it should just retire and work for a fast food chain nor something.br /

This movie is one of the worst I have ever seen!! I am usually a fan of spoofs, such as the Scary Movie films, but this one? NO WAY!!!!! br /br /At least Scary Movie had some sort of plot! With this one the makers seem to have said "How many films can we squeeze into one?" The answer - 14!!! br /br /And, if this is supposed to be a comedy, where are all the funny bits???? The answer - there are NONE! br /br /Just avoid. I'm glad that I rented it instead of buying it.br /

im gutted i wasted my time watching this piece of crap. At least i never paid for it. No comedy here, not remotely funny. Only good bit are the nude girls coming out the wardrobe, but that lasts 2 seconds. DONT BUY, DONT RENT, DONT EVEN LOOK AT THE TITLE.

Wow how can any film company make such complete rubbish , i watched this on dvd and love the scarey movies , after 5 minutes it was enough , i dare anybody to watch this and laugh , my whole family laughed at me for renting it .br / i think 1 star is still to high
