Passable watch, but largely unconvincing. February 18, 2008

Much as I like Gillian Kearney, she fails to convince in the leading role. As a succession of tradegies befall her, she remains beaming and gleeful. She seems impervious to everything that is thrown at her. How then can the audience become concerned about her future.br /br /The plot itself lacks any novel ideas. I found the entire production lacklustre, unconvincing and disappointing. br /br /I would not recommend this DVD unless you have run out of alternatives. There are plenty of more interesting films in the Cookson series than this one.
