  Good-bye! November 4, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Thank the great one that the Spice Moles have disappeared back to their mansions after sucking a large pile of money from the world for a lip sync show and a Greatest Hits??? compilation which sold so well in Australia, they cancelled the tour. What a shame. But what about the people that did buy this album, entered the competion here in Oz to win tickets for the show only to have it pulled at the last minute. This whole exercise was nothing more than money grabbing by talent-less has-beens that made a few good recordings in the 90's(thanks to quality production/songwriting etc.("Viva Forever" is a great song!)),were very popular for a minute, came crashing down in a squabbling mess, hating each other and only made three very average albums full of filler!I weep for the ripped off Australian fans that were promised a stop on the "world" tour(read UK,USA and Canada) and I sob for the artists with REAL talent that missed out on a recording deal because this dribble was released!br /Good-bye Spice Moles!
Relive Late 90's! April 25, 2008 The SPICE GIRLS was a short-lived pop group back in the late 90s. After losing a member and unofficially splitting up, each girl went and had a solo career in music. The total number of solo albums they recorded is greater than the number of albums they made as a group. However, discussing further their solo albums is not relevant in this review. br /br /After more than five years since they released their last album Forever, the girls had finally agreed to reunite for a "world" tour and the much-awaited (by the fans) Greatest Hits. br /br /This particular item is the CD/DVD edition. All their singles are included in the CD, from Wannabe to Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). The radio edits and single versions of the songs are used. So for those who only have their albums you finally get the single version of 2 Become 1, in which Victoria sang the fourth verse instead of Geri. br /br /Their well-known Pepsi advert theme song called Move Over (Generation Next), and a second new track Voodoo (Headlines is the other one) are included here to complete the 15 tracks that composed the CD. br /br /What's better in this album is that the songs had been remastered. Though not mentioned in the inlay of the album, the improvement over the sound of the tracks can be heard, especially in Who Do You Think You Are. br /br /The DVD contains all of their music videos sans Headlines (the US version includes Headlines though). It's fun to watch once more their cool videos such as the futuristic Spice Up Your Life, the sexy Holler, and the MTV-awarded Viva Forever. You'll get to notice some cute and petty little things in their videos which you might not have noticed before, since during their time DVD was not yet popular. br /br /If you want to relive 90's music, have a happy/light mood, have fun, or maybe dance, then this album is recommended for you. The SPICE GIRLS may not have lasted long. But their impact in music and their legacy are presented once again in this album.
this is what you really really want! January 2, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful

Memories of my childhood all on one CD December 1, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Being a huge Spice fan when I was younger, I went out and bought the CD+DVD just so I could relive the great videos as well as the songs. And well, I don't regret it at all.br /br /I had been waiting for this package for 7 years. Even though I have all the albums, I was still so excited at the thought of them all on one CD (Sad i know!) The CD is near perfect.br /br /Everybody will have heard 14 out of the 15 tracks here, and I think they are all awesome, the only duffish track here is Voodoo. It pretty much what we would have expected as a b-side in their hayday. But it's still great to hear a brand new spice track, so i'm not going to be complaining.br /br /The DVD is a great bonus, with the only downside being the lack of video for 'Headlines', A song and video which i personally love.br /br /I was still hoping for a couple more new tracks, but I still have the tour to look forward to, and I can't wait. Forget Christmas, I'm seeing the spice girls in January!
The Spice Girls are everlasting! December 1, 2007 Well, I've waited anxiously since I was 10 for these girls to get back together... It's been almost 10 years since Geri misteriously left the group by itself. I won't say this GH couldn't have been better, because it could: it's missing alternative versions of the videoclips "Too Much" (It only contains the Spice World version, with scenes of their old movie. It doesn't include the clean version one) and "Who Do You Think You Are", which I'll miss the version of Sugar Lumps forever. "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)", their new single with videoclip, was not included to the DVD as well, only in audio format, and I believe they could have picked up more good songs from the olddies, like "Do It", "Never Give Up On The Good Times" or "Tell Me Why", since they chose the nonvideo "Move Over" to be on the audio CD's. The remix CD doesn't show us any news since the remixes are all from the old days and the karaoke CD is only karaoke when they're not singing together - they only excluded the single voices from the tracks. Nevertheless, I was so excited when I heard they would pack up together I'm not really caring about those. What amazed me the most is that their new song not videoclipped yet, VooDoo, is so 90's and reminds me so good things from my teenage that I got all orgastic. It's really worth the bucks, it's an investment every pop music lover should do! No regrets at all, because the Spice Girls are RIGHT BACK AT YA!
