 Fascinating heist film December 8, 2008
Watched this interesting heist film twice after I rented it. Excellent acting from Michael Caine, Demi Moore, Joss Ackland and the French chappy who plays the investigator. It's nice to watch an engrossing film with minimal bad language, no sex and no violence in it. This is a DVD that you can watch with friends or mature family members without having to apologise for the offensive content and which should glue them to their seats. Also an altruistic motive provides a warm ending.br /I have minor quibbles about some scenes that show Demi Moore performing unlikely feats such as undoing plumbing joints with her bare hands or sloshing through sewers in high heels! The dialogue is difficult to hear at times. Apart from that, thoroughly recommendable.
 An interesting and gripping robbery film April 24, 2008

Every robbery has a motive in itself. The main reason is of course the material gain. In the film "Flawless" we do not know the main reason for the robbery until the very end. An old janitor trying hard to find comfort during his pension? A glass-ceilinged woman executive taking her revenge for non-promotion? Or some other reason hidden deep inside their completely unknown lives. Michael Caine deserves credit as he plays wonderfully the cunning janitor. The film grips the audience as the robbery scenes grow tense. As the investigation deepens we feel the strain of the co-robbers. What strikes me hard is that in every aspect of the life in the West there is always a corruption in health, finance, education systems and inthe end always ordinary people face the awful consequences.In the end we sympathy the robber and his cause. A robbery film worth watching...
