Nice video, shame about... well nothing August 25, 2001 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The best Sketch show on TV?? This show launched Smith & Jones, and Rowan Atkinson into the world of comedy greats. It mixed observational comedy, with Satire, impressions and just general sketches usually in bad taste. Mimmicked are bands and TV shows of the time to sometimes horrific accuracy... Watch it 25 times like me, and you'll still be laughing....
The best chance to see some of the world's best comedians December 7, 2000 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This video features some of Great Britain's and the world's favourite comedians - all in the same place. Each featured comedian went on to star in their very own, very funny shows eg Blackadder, Alas Smith & Jones etc. What's amazing about this video is the energy, it's one side splitting scene after another after another as one brilliantly twisted mind feeds off another. Obviously, this series was the final springboard for many of these actors into their own shows and stardom so it's a piece of history and totally hilarious!
