Absolutely Brilliant! May 28, 2008
As many of the other commentators wrote, my mum used the tape during the early 90s when i was young and then i took it up in my late teens during the 1990's. Her tape got stuck in the VCR, so I bought it again. Didn't have a VCR so I actually transferred it onto DVD at a cost of 15, more than the tape actually cost. This is becuase the tape is amazing, a beginners workout which then moves on to the advanced section with an aerobics rountine that is fun, exciting and by the end has you desperately trying to gasp for sweet air. The point is this tape is truly generational and defintely competes with modern rountine workouts. Fantastic!

This vigorous and exciting routine get you moving and sweating like no modern workout can. Unlike workouts of today promising huge losses in 30 or 20 minutes Jane Fonda helps you get fitter in 50 minute routines! Its fun and energetic and the music IS good!!! Basically its A PROPER WORKOUT!!!

Like many of the others who have written, I went back to this tape- bought nearly 20 years ago. Very worn which is why I have come on Amazon to get a replacement. I have tried loads of other routines including pilates and frankly, some of the movements in this video is pilates but I guess the word was not known or in vogue then. I would not waste my money on some of the new fangled routines- these are basic exercises which has done it for me for years. I am still at the beginners because that level suits me fine.

After another failed attempt at going to the gym, I decided to cancel my expensive monthly membership. I bought a couple of DVD's, but nothing proved addictive. I then remember the Jane Fonda video, that had me up a 6am everyday (that was about 15 years ago). I looked for it on DVD, but to no avail. I have had my 'new' copy of the video six days, and while I can't believe how fit I was all those years ago (I use to do the advance portion, I am now struggling with the beginners), I have already done the tape three times. Both sections provide Convenient (35 or 55 minutes) exercise blast .
Get it for the catchy song, and the stroll down 80s memory lane!

I have just dug out my old copy of this which is very worn so I am purchasing a new one. Goodness knows what I will do if it becomes unobtainable! I had forgotten how brilliant this one is! It is extremely easy to follow, the exercises very effective and not like the hard-to-copy co-ordinated routines so many of the celebrities these days jump on the band wagon with. I have purchased many exercise videos over the past 20 years but this one... I give it 11/10. Well done Jane. Thank you for such an excellent video.
