Bean" is an indescribably hilarious movie that will have you dying oflaughter. I first saw it when I was about 14 and to this day, I'm stillhooked! The storyline is simple: News has reached the National Art Galleryin London that a museum in Los Angeles needs a British art scholar tounveil "Whistler's Mother", the latest addition to their collection ofpaintings. This art scholar is Mr Bean, who happens to be "one of theworst employees in the gallery's history". Nonetheless, the gallery has noqualms about sending Mr Bean over to L.A. because as they say, "our lossis America's gain". Mr Bean is a walking disaster and what follows isplenty of mayhem and catastrophe, so much so that you'll be rolling on thefloor with laughter. My cousins love this movie and some of the funniestscenes include Mr Bean defacing the painting (accidentally, of course),stuffing a Thanksgiving turkey into the microwave, and unwittingly givingthe pedestrians of L.A. the middle-finger. Compared to the originalseries, "Bean" might not guaranteed the same amount of comedy but for me,it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen and definitely one of myfavorite movies. If you have yet to see this, you're truly missing out.
